The Ingram M10 (another designation: MAC-10) is a modern American submachine gun, caliber 9 mm or 11.43 mm. The first prototypes of this weapon were made in 1964, and serial production began in 1970. The weight of the gun reaches 2.84 kilograms. The initial velocity of the projectile fired from it reaches 366 m / s, and the theoretical rate of fire ranges from 1100 to 1380 rounds per minute. The maximum range of the shot is 100 meters. The Ingram M10 submachine gun was developed by Gordon B. Ingram (hence the name of the weapon) at the Military Armament Corporation (MAC for short). It was initially produced by this company, and after its bankruptcy - by many other entities. The design assumptions of the weapons are similar to those used in the Israeli Uzi and the Czechoslovak Sa vz.48, but the Ingram M10 was created later than the listed submachine guns and is not closely related to them, nor is it a copy of them. The weapon is distinguished by a specific silencer screwed onto the barrel.
